  • It's Out of the Question: Cupping ups its game, but does the Phelps factor make it right?

  • The gold, silver and iron-clad questions we continue to have while ultimately blaming everything else on Rio: • Spooning. All for it. Mugging. Only for a camera. Cupping? Stick a fork in it. Sir Michael Phelps may endorse this ancient form of suction therapy – which also seems to have inspired some guy to scale the outside of a Trump building in New York the other day before police pried him off. But night after night of seeing large purple spots all over him causes us to flash back to the days when our kids endured a rather painful episode of the chicken pox and were simultaneously in need of therapy after having continuous nightmares they were going to tu into Baey the Dinosaur. We’re already dealing with circles under our eyes, circling back to the NBC ideal that all the good stuff gets put on TV between 8 p.m. and quarter-to-3 a.m., with instances of snapping back awake to the painful shrieks of Rowdy Gaines. Cupping may relax our aching muscles from the repetitive motio, itunes,it works, itunes download, italy,it,itunes store,it cosmetics,it follows, itt tech, italian to english ...ادامه مطلب

  • Wiener Regionals in Los Alamitos:10 heats, 100 dogs, 10,000 spectators in store Saturday

  • Carmilla Macchiato took off like a bat out of (heck). Bosco went nowhere slowly. And Schatzie didn’t even leave the gate. They joined about 40 other short-legged friends this week to practice for the heady competition coming up this weekend. It’s like the Olympic Games for dachshunds: The Wienerschnitzel Wiener Regionals. The hotter-than-hot dog event rolls back into town Saturday night at the Los Alamitos Race Course for its 21st consecutive summer. Ten at a time, rivals took tus at the “gates” — a row of boxes with exit holes covered by a long flap. Once the door was lifted, the little athletes sprang forward. Or not, as the case may be. At the real deal, 100 dogs show what they’re made of in 10 heats, and then those 10 finalists go for the gold. The grand winner gets $1,000 and a trip to the Weiner Nationals in San Diego. Any chance 14-year-old Schatzie will pick up her pace in time to capture the top dog award? “Not a chance in (heck),” answered owner Steve Mcanlis. Bosco’s master felt equally doubtful. “We just hope he gets out of the box — that’s about it,” said David Duncan of Rancho Santa Margarita. “It’s all in good fun.” Michael and Melissa Miller, on the other hand, have good reason to foresee big things from wee Carmilla. “She usually runs away from us, not toward us, so we’ll try to make that a strategy,” said Michael Miller, as he smooched his pooch. They’re so optimistic that they drove 100 miles from their Helendale home for the pregame workout. And Melissa Miller’s brother is even flying from New York to cheer on the sprinter. This will be Carmilla’s second stab at victory. “Last year, she stopped just short of the finish line and sat down,” Melissa Miller said. Over its decades, the touament has raised more than $250,000 for its beneficiary, the Seal Beach Animal Care Center. Some 10,000 people are expected at the 2016 event, according to Los Alamitos Race Course spokesman Orlando Gutierrez. Thirty of those visitors will be family and friends of, ...ادامه مطلب
