Actor Robert Patrick of T2 fame to serve as Grand Marshal of Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race

Say, that’s a nice race car.

Actor Robert Patrick, most famous for his role as the killer T-1000 in “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” is set to reappear in Long Beach Saturday as Grand Marshal of the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race.

Patrick, who presently portrays the character of Cabe Gallo on the television show “Scorpion,” competed in last year’s iteration of the Pro/Celebrity Race. Race organizers have said they expect this year’s Grand Prix of Long Beach festivities will be the final occasion when the Celebrity Race will be part of the event. Toyota determined to drop its support for the Celebrity Race after moving its U.S. headquarters from Torrance to Plano, Texas.

Race organizers aounced Patrick’s plaed appearance on Monday. The Grand Prix Association of Long Beach also aounced 11-year-old singer Alexis “Shafira” Cuingham of Cerritos is scheduled to sing before the race.
