Case Keenum has signed his restricted free-agent tender with the Los Angeles Rams, according to multiple reports.

The Rams had tendered Keenum at the first-round level, which will pay him $3.635 million for the next year. The move also frees the franchise to potentially trade the 28-year-old to another team. Keenum is considered the team’s starter heading into the offseason, and was present in Oxnard for the start of the offseason program Monday.

The 28-year-old went undrafted in 2012, but threw for 828 yards in five games last season. The Rams are expected to take a quarterback, either Cal’s Jared Goff or North Dakota State’s Carson Wetnz, at No. 1 overall in the NFL draft later this month.
