1. RAMS
Jared Goff, QB, Califoia
The Rams make a huge trade and grab the quarterback most ready to play immediately. Goff isn’t as physically impressive as Carson Wentz, but he has terrific pocket presence, makes quick decisions, and won’t fold under pressure. In the franchise’s retu to Los Angeles, the Califoia native would make for a solid headliner.
2. BROWNS
Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State
Hue Jackson is getting his second shot as a head coach, and there may be no better way to prove himself worthy than by resurrecting Robert Griffin III. Still, this moribund franchise badly needs a franchise quarterback, and buying two lottery tickets is better than one.
3. CHARGERS
Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss
Once regarded as the consensus No. 1 overall pick, Tunsil slides a bit due to the big shakeup at the top of the draft.
4. COWBOYS
Jalen Ramsey, CB/FS, Florida State
Dallas has its choice of top defenders at No. 4, and Ramsey could end up being the top player in this draft — one who could develop as a coerback or a safety.
5. JAGUARS
Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
Jack’s knee is reportedly causing conce, but the two-way college star moved well at UCLA’s Pro Day, recording a 40-inch vertical while feeling less than 100 percent.
6. RAVENS
DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon
At 6-foot-7, 291 pounds, Buckner would reinvigorate the Baltimore defense.
7. 49ERS
Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State
Unless the 49ers want to reach for Paxton Lynch — or figure out a way to for Goff or Wentz — they’d be better off supplementing their lackluster pass rush.
8. EAGLES
Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
Elliott is the consensus No. 1 running back in this draft, and Eagles executive VP Howie Roseman recently sang his praises.
9. BUCCANEERS
Veon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
Hargreaves knows how to play in different types of coverages, and Tampa Bay ranked last in the NFL by allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 70 percent of their passes.
10. GIANTS
Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
He might not excel immediately, but Stanley’s pass-blocking could help solidify the Giants’ offensive line for years.
11. BEARS
Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
Not the most explosive defensive lineman out there, but has impressive strength and instincts.
12. SAINTS
Advertisement
Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
He may be the most versatile interior defensive lineman in the draft, albeit one that’s a bit undersized.
13. DOLPHINS
William Jackson, CB, Houston
Miami has options if it wants a coerback, but Jackson’s size (6-foot, 189) and speed (4.37) will be enticing.
14. RAIDERS
Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama
A solid tackler, Ragland would complement a defense that already has a productive pass rusher in Khalil Mack.
15. TITANS
Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
Tennessee needs a tackle after trading down from No. 1, and Conklin is the best one left on the board.
16. LIONS
Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
Detroit has added receivers through free agency, so grabbing a potential Week 1 starter up front is a viable option.
17. FALCONS
Leonard Floyd, DE/OLB, Georgia
Floyd is raw, but Atlanta could win big down the road by stashing the in-state product.
18. COLTS
Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
The Colts would love to add an offensive tackle, but if Conklin and Decker are gone, they could settle for this athletic quarterback-tued-linebacker.
19. BILLS
Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama
A run stopper with sound technique, Reed could flourish on Rex Ryan’s defense.
20. JETS
Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
Ryan Fitzpatrick still hasn’t re-signed, so the Jets opt for this 6-foot-7 quarterback in hopes of a long-term answer.
21. WASHINGTON
Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Ole Miss
Questions abound after bizarre drug possession charge that included him falling out of a hotel window, but he has undeniable upside as an interior rusher.
22. TEXANS
Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
He ran a disappointing 4.65-second 40-yard dash at his pro day, but he utilizes his size and toughness to make catches and contribute as a blocker.
23. VIKINGS
Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
He doesn’t have the surest hands, but Coleman is explosive enough to gain separation and make life easier for Teddy Bridgewater.
24. BENGALS
Josh Doctson, WR, TCU
Cincinnati needs to replace more than 1,200 receiving yards after losing Marvin Jones to the Lions and Mohamed Sanu to the Falcons.
25. STEELERS
Noah Spence, DE/OLB, Easte Kentucky
Once a pass-rushing terror at Ohio State, Spence was bounced out of the Big Ten after failing multiple drug tests. Pittsburgh could be willing to take the risk.
26. SEAHAWKS
Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State
Secondary isn’t Seattle’s most pressing need, but Apple represents good value. Size is key for the Legion of Boom, and the former Buckeye is 6-foot-1, 199 pounds.
27. PACKERS
A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama
Robinson often looked like a man among boys as college star and should plug into Green Bay’s defensive line nicely. And if he improves his pass rush? Watch out.
28. CHIEFS
Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson
Alexander gets dinged for failing to record an interception in two seasons as a starter, but it’s hard to knock his cover skills.
29. CARDINALS
Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama
Hardly a flashy pick, but Kelly is the best center in the draft and fills a major need for Arizona.
30. PANTHERS
Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana
Lest anyone forget, Cam Newton took six sacks in Carolina’s Super Bowl loss two months ago.
31. BRONCOS
Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Denver needs a quarterback after letting Brock Osweiler walk in free agency.
