Update: The Galaxy are coming off a rare road win as L.A. scored a 4-1 victory over Houston last week, its first win in Houstin since 2010. A brace from Giovani dos Santos eaed the Mexican inteational the MLS Player of the Week award. The 26-year-old forward played his first full 90-minute game of the season in the win after suffering a quad strain in his left leg in the season opener. “For me what’s special is that the team won the game,” dos Santos said of the honor. “Of course, I’m happy beause I helped the team to win the game, but I will keep working to help the team.” … Goalkeeper Dan Keedy (groin) is now healthy and back in contention for his starting role, however, his replacement Brian Rowe has been stellar. Rowe currently leads the league in save percentage at 82.6 percent. … After missing last week’s game with a hip contusion, defender Robbie Rogers is healthy and available for selection. … RSL is the last undefeated team in MLS.
