Wilson High’s boys golf team captured its 12th consecutive Moore League championship and 136th league victory in a row with a 372-415 defeat of Millikan on Tuesday afteoon at El Dorado Park Golf Course.

Senior Andrew Feandes paced the Bruins (19-2, 10-0) with a 2-under round of 70, while Hunter Epson shot even-par 72.

Kyle Campano led the Rams (6-4 Moore League) with a round of 79.

POLY 310, LAKEWOOD 344 >> The Jackrabbits (12-5, 8-2) picked up a 14-hole Moore League win at Recreation Park Golf Course behind an even-par 56 from senior Jericho Betts.

Andrew Monsun paced the Lancers (4-6 Moore League) at 63.

Poly will face Mayfair today at Lakewood Country Club, while Lakewood will take on Estancia.

NCAA baseball

LONG BEACH STATE 4, SAN DIEGO STATE 2 >> The No. 17 Dirtbags (23-16, 6-6) held on for a nonconference win at Blair Field after putting up three runs in the first iing and maintaining a 4-0 advantage until the top of the ninth.

Garrett Hampson delivered an RBI double in the opening frame before Luke Rasmussen tacked on a two-run single.

In the third iing, Alex Muzzi crossed the plate on a wild pitch to round out LBSU’s scoring.

The Aztecs (12-26) loaded the bases with no outs in the ninth and scored on a walk to Jordan Verdon and an RBI single from David Hensley.

Dave Smith picked up the win after striking out seven while allowing two hits and two walks over five iings.

Long Beach State retus to Big West Conference action Friday when it hosts Cal Poly (25-14, 7-2) at 6 p.m.

Softball

ST. ANTHONY 10, ST. GENEVIEVE 0 >> The Saints (12-5) improved to 5-0 in Santa Fe League play behind Angelica Ponce (two-hit shutout, nine strikeouts) and Amanda McCalip (3 for 4, three RBIs, three runs).

St. Anthony will visit Serra on Thursday afteoon.

WILSON 15, JORDAN 4 >> Katelyn Howard, McKenzie Barbara and Arisa Cleaveland all hit home runs in the mercy rule-shortened Moore League victory.

Cleaveland and Amanda Castro combined for eight strikeouts.

WARREN 12, PARAMOUNT 4 >> Lesley Bojorquez (2 for 5, three RBIs, two-run home run), Brooklyn Araujo (3 for 5, triple) and Kailyn Lorberter (2 for 4, RBI, run) paced the Bears in a San Gabriel Valley League win.

VALLEY CHRISTIAN 9, WHITTIER CHRISTIAN 8 >> The Crusaders erased an 8-3 deficit on the road with a five-run fifth iing as Moriah Easley tallied the game-wiing RBI and Bri Lerma had a three-run homer.

Boys volleyball

WILSON 3, JORDAN 0 >> Matt Miller led the Bruins to a 25-22, 25-22, 25-23 Moore League sweep with 14 kills, seven digs and two blocks.

Kealii Pa’aluhi added nine kills, 10 digs and two blocks for Wilson, which will host Millikan on Thursday for senior night.

Track and field

Los Alamitos High’s girls squad produced three champions Saturday afteoon at the Orange County Championships in Mission Viejo. Senior Alison Parsons took first place in the long jump (18 feet, 9 inches), junior Kallie Given won the high jump (5-6) and senior Ashley Willingham led the field in the 200 meters with a time of 24.76 seconds.

Lacrosse

For the first time, two local high school squads will face off in Long Beach as Poly is set to take on the Long Beach Bu (a combination of student-athletes from Millikan and Wilson) today at Chittick Field at 4:30 p.m.

The Bu are led by Division 1 prospect David Miller (Millikan).
