Bonsignore mock draft 3.0: Ezekiel Elliott rises, Myles Jack falls

1. RAMS

Jared Goff, QB, Cal

After making the unprecedented move from No. 15 in a blockbuster trade with the Titans, the Rams spent the past two weeks deciding between North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz and Cal’s Jared Goff. Momentum has built recently for Goff, who is considered more NFL ready after playing at a higher level and whose West Coast roots make the transition to Los Angeles a bit easier.

2. EAGLES (from BROWNS)

Carson Wentz QB, North Dakota State

The Rams’ trade was a stuing blow to the Browns, who preferred Goff over Wentz. That paved the way for the Eagles trading from No. 8 to No. 2, and the chance to take Wentz, whoM they’ve been talking up for weeks.

3. CHARGERS

Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State

The Chargers have been linked lately to Notre Dame’s Roie Stanley, but at the end of the day they stick with the electrifying Ramsey, who some consider the best player in the draft.

4. COWBOYS

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State

The Cowboys were hoping to get a crack at one of the top two quarterbacks, but the Rams and Eagles jumped ahead of them. The medical uncertainty of UCLA linebacker Myles Jack pushes the Cowboys off him and onto the best ruing back in the draft,

5. TITANS (from JAGUARS)

Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss

The Titans play the board like champs, surrendering the No. 1 pick for a boatload of picks, then jumping back into the top 10 to get the guy they wanted all along.

6. RAVENS

DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon

The Ravens love big, tough, physical players. And Buckner checks all of those boxes.

7. 49ERS

Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

The 49ers get shut out of the Goff/Wentz derby, and instead wind up with the most complete defensive lineman.

8. BROWNS

Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia

The Browns were stued when the Rams made the move to No. 1, but they adjusted nicely to add a bunch of extra picks, and can reach a bit on a player with a ton of upside and who projects as a future force on the edge.

9. BUCCANEERS

Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson

Lawson gives the Bucs a much-needed edge pass rusher.

10. GIANTS

Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville

The G-Men are constructing an elite defensive line again, and Rankins is the perfect anchor.

11. BEARS

Roie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

The Bears’ draft room is stued when the second-best left tackle gets gift-wrapped for them.

12. SAINTS

Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis

The Saints have put off finding Drew Brees’ heir apparent long enough, and in Lynch they get a QB with rare skill set whom they can groom for a year or two.

13. DOLPHINS

Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson

The Dolphins failed to fill their glaring hole at coerback through free agency and happily scoop up one of the best in the draft.

14. RAIDERS

Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

The Raiders benefit from some shady medical information and land the best linebacker in the draft.

15. JAGUARS (from TITANS via RAMS)

Noah Spence, DE/OLB, Easte Kentucky

Spence has off-field issues, but he’s the best pass rusher in the draft.

16. LIONS

Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State

Conklin is a local kid who will add toughness and protection for Stafford

17. FALCONS

Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama

Just line this guy up anywhere and watch him make plays.

18. COLTS

Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State

Decker provides the type of run-blocking that profiles perfectly at the next level.

19. BILLS

Veon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida

The Bills were eyeing Paxton Lynch, but the Saints blew that plan up at No. 12. The Bills rebound by adding a Day One starter at coerback.

20. JETS

Veon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech

The Jets could reach for Coor Cook here, but they stay true to their board and take the best player available.

21. REDSKINS

A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama

The Redskins resist the urge to go offense here and address a big need on the defensive line.

22. TEXANS

Josh Doctson, WR, TCU

The Texans get some help for young quarterback Brock Osweiler with a wide receiver most believe has the best skill set in the draft.

Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

The Vikings run, not walk, the card up to the podium to grab the most polished receiver in the draft.

Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor

Billings has shown steady improvement after being converted from tackle, and can step in and anchor the interior of the Bengals defense.

Ogbah is raw, but his upside and athleticism are perfect for an organization that prides itself on player development.

Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama

The perfect replacement for Marshawn Lynch

The Packers look long and hard at some of the receivers, but settle on a coerback many believe will end up the second-best in the draft

Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame

Fuller is the fastest of the top-rated receivers and gives the Chiefs a perimeter weapon.

William Jackson, CB, Houston

Jackson has been on the rise in recent days, and sneaks into the first round.
