Looking forward to watching Barcelona star Neymar play for Brazil at this year’s U.S.-hosted Copa America?

Forget it.

Brazil’s captain skips the touament at the request of his club that doesn’t want him playing two draining summer touaments during the European offseason.

Instead, Neymar attempts to lead his nation to a first Olympic men’s soccer touament title in front of a rabid home crowd, proving that with a jammed summer of soccer looming, even the biggest names in the game can’t be everywhere at once.

And neither can you.

So check out this guide to the biggest events in the sport this summer or risk watching that big game in a coer at Grandma’s on your smartphone.

May 28: UEFA Champions League final

What’s generally regarded as the world’s showcase club game will be televised on the Fox network yet again this year at 11:45 a.m. between the wiers of the Athletico Madrid-Baye Munich and Real Madrid-Manchester City semifinals.

June 3-26: Copa America Centanario

Fox, FS1 and FS2 will televise all 32 games of this special edition of the touament, being played outside South America for the first time.

The U.S. opens the touament at 6:30 p.m. June 3 against Colombia, then completes group play with games against Costa Rica (5 p.m. June 7) and Paraguay (4 p.m. June 11).

Three group games are scheduled at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena: Brazil-Ecuador (7 p.m. June 4), Colombia-Paraguay (7:30 p.m. June 7) and Mexico-Jamaica (7 p.m. June 9).

June 10-July 10: Euro 2016

ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes will show all 51 games live in the 24-team touament, adding up to more than 230 hours of coverage. Generally, that means three games a day with most kicking off at 6 a.m., 9 a.m. and noon.

Assuming the Galaxy’s Robbie Keane has recovered from injury and is match fit, Southe Califoia MLS fans will want to check out Ireland’s games against Sweden (9 a.m. June 13), Belgium (6 a.m. June 18) and Italy (noon June 22).

July 23-Aug. 3: Inteational Champions Cup

For the first time, ESPN will air all 15 games in the 10-team touament that is basically a series of preseason exhibitions for some of the world’s top clubs.

There are two games set for Southe Califoia: Chelsea-Liverpool on July 27 at the Rose Bowl and Leicester City-Paris St. Germain on July 30 at StubHub Center.

If history is any guide, potential ticket buyers should keep in mind the biggest stars with these clubs will also be participating in the likes of Copa America and Euro 2016 and may not even travel.

And even those that do are likely to see merely an abbreviated run-out that is little more than a preseason fitness exercise.

Aug. 5-21: 2016 Summer Olympics

The U.S. men failed to qualify for the touament (again), but the USWNT retus to defend its 2012 Olympic crown.

The U.S. has its three group games scheduled against New Zealand (3 p.m. Aug. 3), France (1 p.m. Aug. 6) and Colombia (3 p.m. Aug. 9) that will air on NBC or affiliated chaels.

Aug. 13: EPL

And with that, we’ve come full circle, soccer summer 2016 is done and the English Premier League kicks off its 2016-2017 season.
