SoCal Prep Legends Girls Athlete of the Week

Noteworthy: Last week it looked like Long Beach Poly might back into a third consecutive Moore League championship, something the Jackrabbits desperately didn’t want to do.

Coming off 1-1 draws with Millikan and Wilson, they needed a spark, and got it from sophomore Emily Knous, a U17 National Team pool player who has already committed to Arizona.

Knous assisted on a goal to put Poly up 1-0 and then after Lakewood tied it up, Knous scored the game-wier with less than 30 seconds left in the game.
