Documents unsealed by a Pennsylvania court Tuesday unveiled testimony that current UCLA defensive coordinator Tom Bradley, a former Penn State assistant coach, knew of Jerry Sandusky‘s sexual abuse of boys as early as the 1980s.
In a 2015 deposition, former Penn State assistant Mike McQueary, a main witness in the case who reported to then-head coach Joe Pateo that he had seen Sandusky raping a boy in 2001, said Bradley was not shocked after hearing about the crime.

The deposition continues to state that when McQueary told Bradley about the abuse, Bradley told him Greg Schiano, a former Penn State assistant and current Ohio State defensive coordinator, came to him in the early 1990s “about a very similar situation to (McQueary’s)” and that someone in the early ’80s told him of Sandusky’s misconduct with boys.
McQueary said the conversation took place in the mid-2000s, and that he and Bradley would complain to each other about Sandusky having access to the Penn State facilities.
Bradley was at Penn State for 37 years as a player, graduate assistant and full-time assistant coach. He left in 2012 and joined the UCLA staff as the defensive coordinator in 2015.
