If the playoffs started today, the Sparks would face the Storm in the first round. ... The Mercury are fighting for their postseason lives. Phoenix is currently in sixth place, but just a one-game lead over eighth-place Dallas. ... The Mercury have lost their last two games to fall to 7-7 at home; the Sparks are 9-7 on the road.
