Update: The Ducks have won six consecutive games, eight of their last nine and are 13-3-1 since the Christmas break. The third-place Ducks (25-18-7) swept three pivotal games against Pacific Division rivals last week, including a 5-2 victory Friday over the Arizona Coyotes that moved them within one point of the second-place San Jose Sharks. They begin a seven-game trip against the Penguins (26-18-7) in Pittsburgh before heading to Philadelphia, Columbus, Chicago, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Ducks left wing David Perron has three goals and eight points in seven games since a Jan. 15 trade from the Penguins. Left wing Carl Hagelin has five points, all assists, in eight games since the Ducks sent him to Pittsburgh in the same deal. Ducks right wing Corey Perry has 10 goals and 14 points in 17 games since the Christmas break.
