Noteworthy: The University of Hawaii commit had quite the week.

He scored 16 points Tuesday night in a 56-39 win over Los Alamitos during the CIF State Division II Regional semifinals and then notched 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal Saturday afteoon in the Jackrabbits’ 61-54 victory over J.W. North in the regional championship game at the Walter Pyramid.

Poly (24-10) will face San Mateo Serra on Saturday with the State title on the line at 4 p.m. in Sacramento.

To top it all off, Buggs’ future team, Hawaii, knocked off fourth-seeded Cal in the first round of the NCAA Touament.
