Update: Left wing David Perron retued to Orange County to have an MRI exam on his injured right shoulder, the Ducks said Monday. Perron was hurt when he crashed into the boards during the second period of the Ducks’ 3-2 overtime victory Sunday over the Wiipeg Jets, the first game on a five-game Canadian trip. Perron had eight goals and 20 points in 28 games with the Ducks after a Jan. 16 trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins. Coach Bruce Boudreau said Perron is “week to week.” Mike Santorelli could replace Perron in the lineup after he was a healthy scratch for the past three games. The Ducks (40-22-9, second in the Pacific Division) lead the NHL with a power play that clicks at 23.3 percent and a penalty-kill with a 87.3 percent success rate. They given up 2.3 goals per game, second-best in the league. The Canadiens are 33-34-6.
