USC guard Katin Reinhardt, a part-time starter for the Trojans, aounced via Twitter he is transferring for his senior year.

He is the third USC player to transfer since the Trojans lost to Providence in the NCAA Touament, joining forwards Darion Clark and Malik Martin.

Reinhardt averaged 11.4 points per game and took 329 shots this season, which was the second-most on the team. His shot selection could be erratic and he made only 31 percent of his 3-point shots in Pacific-12 Conference games.

Reinhardt started 18 of 33 games but faced increasing competition at shooting guard next season with incoming freshmen Jonah Matthews of Santa Monica and De’Anthony Melton of Crespi. Former Louisville guard Shaqquan Aaron will also be eligible after redshirting.

This is the second transfer for Reinhardt. He played his freshman season at UNLV. Because he is expected to graduate in May, Reinhardt could be immediately eligible at another school.
